    • Swimmers must enter from the west gate and exit through the east gate; parents/guardians need to remain in vehicles
    • The coach will ask each swimmer as they enter the pool if they are feeling well and perform a temperature scan.
    • Any swimmer that is not feeling well or shows ANY symptoms of illness will be sent home.  Each swimmer must have TWO emergency contacts that are available to pick them up if needed.
  2. There will be cones, tape, etc to mark appropriate distance when on deck and waiting to enter the pool.  Anyone who does not follow these distancing guidelines will be asked to leave.
  3. COVID-19 and spacing protocols will be posted at pool.
  4. There will be a coach at both ends of the pool.
  5. Staggered starts and opposite ends will be used to ensure proper spacing while in the pool.
  6. The maximum people per lane will be 4.
  7. No parents or spectators will be allowed on the inside the gated areas.
  8. Swimmers will not be allowed to enter the pool area until all areas have been sanitized.
  9. Swimmers waiting for practice will do so outside of the pool area and will ensure 6 ft of social distancing.

Equipment

  1. No loaner equipment will be provided; you must bring any caps, goggles, towels, water bottles, etc. for yourself and may not share with other swimmers.
  2. All equipment left after practice will be thrown away (no lost and found).

Monitoring

  1. Any coach, swimmer, etc that is not feeling well or shows any symptoms of illness (coughing, sneezing, runny nose, fever) will not be able to attend practices.
  2. Any coach or swimmer must have a physician note and be cleared for training if they have been diagnosed or suspected of having COVID 19 or any other communicable illness.

These policies and procedures will be strictly enforced and any swimmer or parent/guardian who fails to adhere to these expectations will be removed from the team without warning.

These hour-long practices will focus on skill training and not distance.  Swimmers should have solid foundations in all four strokes.  There will be no interaction between athletes and distancing will be required at all times.  Zero-tolerance policy.

Coaches will also adhere to social distancing regulations, therefore if a swimmer is not able to swim for an hour long practice without needing assistance or impeding the practice space of others, this is not an ideal program for them.  No 1st time swimmers should be allowed.
